Outback Newsletter - Last Issue February 2009: Outback Newsletter ran from 1996 to 2009, which was 110 issues, containing, articles, events, venues, advice and support information. It was run solely by volunteers who over the last 13 years or so, gave their time and energy freely to make a better local lesbian community. Now that the Newsletter is no longer being produced, we have decided to keep the website online. Although the website will no longer list any events ('What's On and Where to Go') OR any venues, local traders/businesses etc etc, we will, however, hope to use it as a historical reference and information source. Online Newsgroups: We do still have the Outback Yahoo & Myspace newsgroups, and now also have an Outback Facebook page and group, where you can go add your events, pictures, chat and still keep in touch with others in the local community... Katie: I would like to thank 'Kate' for all the years of time (week in week out) she put into editing, updating and collating the Newsletter! Without her non of this would have been possible - THANK YOU KATE :-)
