Calendar 2007         Maid in Cornwall     When our wonderful Newsletter editor, Kate, mentioned that Outback Newsletter & Cornwall Lesbian Line funds were low due to financial pressures, we had at last, the excuse we needed. The Knapely WI Calendar and the Calendar Girls film have resulted in many other calendars, some great, come awful but we knew that our women here in Cornwall would make a great subject. And we needed a twist, a reason for YOU to want to buy it. We have created a series of fun, tongue in cheek photographs drawing on iconic images: Dr No, Audrey Hepburn, Marlon Brando, Vanity Fair, etc. You can see some of the images on this site and all 12 images are just as fabulous. "Cornwall is a vast and mainly rural county, it takes three hours just to drive from one end to the other. Our communities are scattered and there are still many people living in fear of coming out. The calls we get on the Cornwall Lesbian Line reflect that diversity: new arrivals who want to meet new friends to frightened teenagers who don’t know who to talk to."   The Cornwall Lesbian Line has been funded by the Outback magazine for 10 years and we need to raise our profile to reach more people and raise more money.
